Living in places that are hospitality and consumption drivin [California, Vegas, Vail, Planet Earth…] has provided me with A LOT to think about.
I grew up in the country surrounded by five Indian reservations, too many of my friends are no longer here, because we didn’t know how to consume properly.
Becoming a Bartender changed everything I knew about consumption. I discovered there was an actual science; a proper way to consume. Marry that with what I’ve discovered around Divine Cosmic Consciousness and Quantum Science, and our capacity to encode God particles.
As a teenager and into my early twenties, I was continuously trying to figure out how to properly consume alcohol in a way that didn’t take me for a ride; that didn’t lead to blackouts, bad decisions and hangovers.
As with everything, I discovered that it’s a multi-dimensional, multi-layered, self mastery experience.
Which factors in:
State of Mind and Intention: The intention we have when weĀ dive into anything effects the results we get from it. If we approach any substance with the intention of “getting fucked up”, we’re not going to get the same results, as if we were to approach the substance with the intention of self discovery, self reflection and self expansion.
Our state of mind when we approach consumption is imperative, if we’re emotional and going through something difficult that’s the time to lean into clear headedness. Our time is better spent; dancing, getting organized, cleaning our house, self care and having impartive conversations.
Language and Belief System(s): Our belief system(s) and labels affect our experience. Our reality is a direct reflection of our belief system(s). Labeling substances as “drugs” while simultaneously demonizing and vilifying them doesn’t make them that, it only illuminates a perspective. Substances have the potential to act as bridges, as portals and as an adventure of discovery waiting to happen. Being open to receiving what a journey has to show us, is a powerful tool.
* When one consumes food with the belief system and language that they are fueling their body, verses someone who is judging and shaming themselves while they eat; that plays out in the body. There’s no need to consume anything in judgement or shame; gratitude, appreciation and celebration are available.
Responsibility and Accountability: There is a proper, responsible way to approach anything and everything; proper dosaging is key. With many things in our reality the proper amounts of specific ingredients determines the success rate. From baking to cocktails, to engines and spaceships, it’s imperative to know how much ________ to use.
Taking accountability for what we put in our body, is just as important as taking responsibility. Substances being approached with a conscientious mind and heart is a game changer. The environment, the people we are surrounded by; making sure food, water and safety are accounted for.
* this one time we were going to halloween festival and we knew we would be dosing, so we prepared and trained our minds the 3 weeks prior to be able to ensure that we had active control of our minds in that state, when we were presented with darker imagery.
Science and Time: Body science is imperative, it would be incredibly beneficial if everyone knew how to consume responsibly for their specific BMI. As a bartender we are taught the science of alcohol and time, and how it plays out. There’s a reason protocol, measurements and standards exist.
* consuming in the day, consuming in dark spaces, consuming in the heat, consuming at altitude, mixing substances; all require a unique approach to ensuring responsibility (and a pleasurable/memorable experience).
Frequency: Consuming in the frequency of judgement and shame verses in the frequency of abundance and celebration makes a huge difference. It’s a proven science, we consume the energy, the frequency and the intention, and that plays out in our bodies.
Hormonal State: There would be times where I would have one drink and blackout, for the longest time I thought it was just not having enough food in my body. Then I started seeing a bloody pattern. On a road trip, perusing through a street market, I passed by a book on a table that practically jumped out at me, “how to drink according to your cycle”. Until then, it never occured to me that as a women, our bodies are in a different hormonal state every single day, and that alcohol reacts differently depending on that state. Every time I blacked out after one drink, I would wake up to my period. Just another reason conscious body awareness and consumption go hand in hand.
Maturity: Emotional maturity, factors into everything we do. There’s a reason age requirements exist. (I have my own opinions on what they should be)
As with everything, every experience is a neutral mirror to perceive ourselves through. Even the moments where I didn’t feel in control, provided me an opportunity to see myself, to witness my gifts and my organic ways of operating; even when they were behind a blurred veil of perceived recklessness.
I’ve always taken accountability and responsibility for my participation, in my actions. Never blamed anything or anyone for the situations that I got myself into. Someone once told me that’s the proof of the “hood” in me; possibly, or the G.O.D. programming, encoded in my DNA.
I’ve always been shameless in owning my actions; nothing too embarrassing, shameful or not worthy of owning, or inevitably laughing about. Being “young and dumb” was like a right of passage for my generation ā then we mature and are able to consciousnessly craft our realities and pivot with our hindsight wisdom from our unconscious puberty ride.
I’m not someone who comprehends malicious behavior or intent, so that’s not something I can really speak on from experience. If you are someone who has those feelings, I recommend not fueling them with substances, get clear headed and reach out to a professional who can act as a neutral sounding board and hold you in unconditional love, while you let that shit go. I’m available if you need me.
Becoming a Bartender changed my life. It gave me an opportunity to understand the science behind consumption, the responsibility, liability and totality of the experience. It was incredibly humbling and eye opening. I saw my young self and the raw selfishness that she was.
Becoming a Bartender, gave me an opportunity to continue to participate in the celebration of life; clear headed and going home with money in my pocket.
It gave me an opportunity to step up and lead my generation with heart, knowledge and confidence.
When I became a Spirit Advisor (a role I did not see coming, bestowed on me by The Universe) I sat in channel for almost 4 years. I discovered the capacity and innerstanding of Quantum Science and Galactic Law.
I discovered and clearly understood the science behind Divine Cosmic Consciousness and the capacity of encoding, especially liquid.
The energy, relationship, narratives and intention we have at the moment of consumption (no matter the item) effects how it plays out in our body.
I had someone ask me. You have so much momentum, why are you still here? (As in, still at the restaurant). In this exact moment in time, I am still designing and putting together the details of my practice; after relocating, preparing to start my radio show, waiting on my Doctorate to arrive and navigating the Capital Investment process. It’s intentional.
As I was walking myself through the business industry online, I noticed that many coaches and advisors were incredibly inaccurate in their beliefs and narratives when it came to humanity. As if they were simply sitting behind a computer, assuming and speculating, not actually knowing.
Staying connected to humanity, is incredibly important to me. Having a pulse on the heartbeat and an accuracy of the narratives makes me a better Spirit Advisor. I’d rather not guess, I prefer to know.
Plus, I love the physical, mental experience, it reminds me of being on the basketball court.
I also love being in a position that feels woven into my community.
It’s also incredibly important to me to lead by example, in shifting the state of mind of the hospitality industry. When I first got into this line of work, the ways of operating I observed were appalling. Bartenders puddling people to get bigger tips, with no regard to safety, health or liability. They seemed caught up in the power of their role finding humor in getting people so drunk, that they would potentially, “give them all their money”.
I don’t operate like that, I legitimately give a shit about people. I want everyone to have a memorable, pleasurable time. I want to develop genuine friendships with people in/coming through my community. I realized that I didn’t have to get them drunk at all in order for them to tip me well.
The people that sit at my bar are often professionals. I respect their reputations, their professionalism, their lives… I don’t want to put them in compromising situations, I want to have incredible conversations and provide them an unforgettable experience. One that potentially changes their outlook on life and how they move forward navigating and engaging with it.
Jumping down rabbit holes and having these conversations around consumption while the present moment of the experience is happening is super powerful.
On the topic of being a Spirit Advisor, that pours spirits ā I love obliterating the social narratives around alcohol; when it pertains specifically to judgment, shame and the inaccurate labeling of addiction.
Nothing ever needs to be consumed in judgment or shame. Alcohol in particular is made from the most abundant element in existence which is water. Which can be encoded and blessed in any frequency in which we desire. So we can make it unconditional love, make it abundance, make it celebration.
* The goal is for everything to flow through our vessel effortlessly, rarely being personalized, unless by choice, in a heart-soul specialness kind of way, that is undeniable.
I focus on the craftsmanship, the artistry; I focus on a tasting experience and connecting with others, versus getting drunk. Combining this focus with the knowledge of body science and intentional quantum encoding.
I haven’t been drunk in over a decade and this new generation seems to be riding the same wavelength. This next generation is ā 83% in alcohol consumption in relation to the previous 5 before it. They witnessed “sloppy”, buffoonery, humiliation and a ways of operating they wanted to pivot from and I love that.
So did we (the previous generations), mostly in our own behavior; whatever reflection it took, we’re moving forward, we’re maturing, we are finding a balance.
Assisting in a deeper understanding in mindful consumption, for all generations, from my point of view dissolves judgement, and the less judgemental of a collective we are, the better we’re going to work and play together.
While designing my practice ā opening the doors to Galactic Attunementā¢, I knew I wanted to provide my clients with a community experience. An opportunity for them to jump down rabbit holes with those on a similar path. Providing a happy hour experience, where I get to facilitate the above conversation on my own terms, where no one is obligated to participate but open to receiving.
I’ve experimented with all forms of consumption throughout my life. Utilizing experiences, frequencies and alternate states of consciousness for self-reflection, self-expansion and deep self-awareness. To understand how things feel in order to gain perspective, innerstanding and compassion. Sometimes I put myself on a certain level to then alchemize and transmute that frequency into unconditional love. I dive in, I go without; I pay attention to the differences of reality and then choose which reality I desire for myself.
I would never recommend anyone drink in excess or even on a daily basis. I’ve gone years without and it’s glorious but I also like playing scientist and experimenting. There have even been times where I’ve had to consume in order to facilitate the experience ie The Universe. There’s no judgement here.
